About the show
Anne With an e is a coming of age tV show that was created in 2017. It is based on the novel by lucy maud montgomery and film titled anne of green gables. The show takes place in prince edward island in the fictional town of avonlea. It follows 13-year-old anne, an orphan who is sent to live with matthew and marilla cuthbert. throughout the seasons, we get to see how her and the other characters around her navigate life and the troubles that may come with it.
What makes it my favourite show?
Anne with an e is my favourite show because it takes place in the late 1890’s when times were simpler. phones didn’t exist and people actually went outside and enjoyed life. the cinematography is simply beautiful and each character has their own story. Unfortunately, the show got canceled after the third season, upsetting many viewers. i was devastated to find out that i wouldn’t get to watch another season of my comfort show. even though the show took place in the past, i was still able to relate to the characters while watching.
